Our Clinics

Welcome to our new Well Baby Clinics, where your child's well-being is our priority. Parenthood is undoubtedly an exhilarating journey, yet it is not without its challenges - sleepless nights, first-time worries, and the constant quest for the best care possible for your baby. This multi-disciplinary clinic is designed to provide you and your baby with comprehensive care and expert guidance to pro-actively support you every step of the way.

At the heart of each clinic, we have assembled a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about your child's well-being.

Our clinics are based at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, and are part of GSTT Private Healthcare. In every clinic you will be seen jointly by Dr Marie White, a Consultant Paediatrician; Mrs Michaela Smith, an Infant Feeding Specialist; and Mr Simon Filson, a Consultant Paediatric Plastic Surgeon, who diagnose and treat common paediatric problems and can refer to other specialties as needed.

Newborn Clinic

(Birth – 8 weeks)

This clinic offers a top to toe examination and assessment of feeding and growth and common problems like tongue ties.

  • Leaving hospital with your baby can be a daunting experience. Our Newborn Clinic provides the opportunity for your baby to have a comprehensive review by experts and enables you to ask questions and discuss any concerns after being discharged from hospital. During the clinic your baby will have a thorough medical examination and a detailed review of their feeding and growth. Our clinic aims to ensure your baby is healthy and to identify and address any possible feeding, medical or surgical concerns early before they can impact adversely on growth or development, or simply to give you reassurance after a thorough top to toe check.

3 Month Baby Clinic

(2-4 months)

This clinic enables us to monitor the growth and development of your baby with early identification and management of any concerns.

  • After being discharged from your health visitor, life with a small baby can feel all-consuming and overwhelming. Common conditions may not present until the first few months of life and can remain undiagnosed for some time. These can include reflux, cow’s milk protein allergy and tongue ties which can adversely impact on feeding and growth. Our holistic review can give you the reassurance from highly trained professionals that your baby is on track and address any concerns you have. This clinic provides a full assessment of their intake and enables us to track your baby’s growth and development. You will also receive a free webinar on basic life support and choking to give you the confidence to know what to do in an emergency.

6 Month Baby Clinic

(4-6 months)

This clinic aims to guide you through the weaning process and pro-actively monitors your baby’s growth and development.

  • Knowing how and when to introduce food into your baby’s diet can be a daunting task and every baby is unique. In this clinic we offer a comprehensive overview on various weaning approaches, ranging from traditional methods to baby-led weaning and hybrid models. We will aim to formulate a weaning strategy that is personalised for you and your baby. We provide guidance on the timing for introducing specific allergens, substantiated by the latest scientific research and evidence.

Book into this clinic in advance of weaning to give you the confidence you need to start the weaning process. Your baby will also have a thorough examination and assessment of your baby’s growth and developmental milestones, ensuring a holistic approach to your child's well-being.

1 Year Baby Clinic

(9-12 months)

This clinic offers a comprehensive assessment of your infant including growth, feeding and developmental milestones.

  • When should you be concerned if your infant isn’t walking or talking? In this clinic we will focus on your infant’s growth and development. All children develop at their own pace but knowing what to expect at each stage and when to be concerned can give you the reassurance that your child is being closely monitored. This clinic will allow us to pick up specific concerns at an early age including hearing concerns which can impact on speech progression. We want your child to thrive and to be able to support you and your child throughout their rapidly changing first year of life.
